Price the actual things you want: the cabinet, the basin, the toilet, and the bath or shower enclosure, from UK retailers you would genuinely buy from. Then measure the area you are tiling and price the tiles you like by the square metre. That gives you the cost of your own taste, which is the part no calculator can guess.

Moving the plumbing is what quietly changes the price. Keeping everything where it is costs considerably less than a new layout.

Ask whether sanitaryware is supplied by you or by them, and what happens if you supply it and something is faulty. Ask whether tiling is included, and how it is measured and charged. Ask about ventilation and extraction. Ask how long the room will be out of use, and what you are meant to do if it is your only bathroom.

No mention of waterproofing behind the tiles in a shower area. No extraction. A quote that does not say who is supplying what. Anyone happy to move a toilet without discussing where the waste is going.
